DBA's.
Candidate will possess:
- Exposure to 24 X 7 production databases of multiple
vendors and multiple platforms
- An ability to monitor, install databases, troubleshoot/resolve
conflicts/performance problems, optimize, performs
backups (hot and cold), restore databases on the fly,
write script, and be fully functional in PL/SQL coding.
Extended skills desirable for troubleshooting and
performance tuning the SGA environment
An ideal candidate will possess practical skills or

Engineer
LYCEUM is actively seeking a Systems Engineer to provide desktop
support at a government site in Washington DC. The candidate will
be part of a Windows 2000 migration team. MCP/MCSE and A+ certifications
desirable.

Senior Solaris / Oracle
/ Network System Engineers
LYCEUM is recruiting a team of Senior System Engineers to participate
in the design, integration, implementation and support of a state-of-the-art
web infrastructure. The system will support millions of transactions
and provide 24/7 continuous operation. We are seeking Senior Engineers
with experience designing and building three-tiered architectures
with clustering, load balancing and data replication.Job opportunities
exist for a Senior Systems Architect, an Enterprise Oracle Database
Administrator (DBA), a Senior Network Architect and several Systems
Administrators. If you have extensive experience in Sun Solaris
2.8, Trusted Solaris, Oracle 8.1 DBMS, Veritas Cluster Server, F5
Load Balancing and BEA WebLogic, forward your resume to us for consideration.

Software Engineer
Web developer to join team developing web site and applications
using advanced programming techniques. Integrate efforts with those
of several other teams using CORBA-based architecture, OO analysis
and design, and developing specialized applications. Follow and
help promulgate programming standards and practices. Provide programming
in web disciplines. Provide web implementation expertise for implementation
of design. Progressive experience in information processing with
direct experience in web design and implementation. At least 4 years
of programming experience. Experience with the following disciplines:
computer security technology, web and certificate servers, IIS,
LDAP, Active Server Page, HTML, and web browser configuration. BS
degree and 4 years minimum experience required.

Team Manager (multiple positions)
Must have proven technical leadership & managerial skills,
to implement newly designed agency application. Develop solutions
to design & integration problems including COTS. Report to senior
management, document validation and verification, financial analysis
and interact with customer. Degree, OO, UNIX or NT, C/C++ Java or
web based systems experience required.

Java Developer (multiple positions)
Implement sophisticated design using advance COBRA architecture,
OO design & tools. Requires direct experience in JAVA design/implementation,
C/C++, TCP/IP and Sybase. Degree and 4 years programming experience.
Support integration of applications (NT/UNIX) with web server.

Web Developer (multiple positions)
Develop web site use using advanced programming techniques and
integrate multiple team efforts using COBRA architecture, OO analysis
and design. Degree and 4 years programming experience in computer
security technology, web certificate servers, IIS, LDAP, Active
Server Page, HTML and web browser configuration.

IT Systems Engineer
Provides technical support for ongoing problem resolution, definition
and documentation for SEC production system. Monitor software processes,
hardware configuration and systems use. Experience in number of
technical areas with special expertise in one or two areas including
operating systems, telecommunications, applications support, high
level technical support, computer hardware or network tools. Prefer
degree and 6 years experience but experience may substitute for
education in certain cases.
